Terms of Service

Last updated: 18 June 2026

1. About Plantruly

Plantruly is a UK-based events planning platform operated by Lifeline Digitals Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. By creating an account or using our platform, you agree to these Terms of Service.

Plantruly is available to users based in the United Kingdom only. All transactions are processed in GBP (British pounds sterling).

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • You must be based in the United Kingdom.
  • You must provide accurate information when registering.
  • One person may not create multiple accounts to circumvent subscription limits.

3. Account roles

Plantruly has three account types, each with different permissions:

  • Event Owner — the person responsible for the event. Only an Event Owner may hold funds, receive payments, manage the gift registry, and authorise financial transactions. This cannot be delegated to a Planner or Vendor.
  • Event Planner — a professional hired to coordinate an event. Planners can manage event logistics, guests, vendors, and timelines but cannot hold or receive money on behalf of an event.
  • Vendor — a business or individual providing services. Vendors receive payment directly from Event Owners through our secure payment flow.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Plantruly offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. Current pricing is available at plantruly.com/pricing.

  • Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Your card details are never stored by us.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Access continues until the end of the paid period.
  • Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods, except where required by UK consumer law. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, contact billing@plantruly.com.

5. Transaction fees

Plantruly charges a platform fee on payments processed through the platform (gift contributions, vendor payments). Fee rates depend on your subscription tier and are shown clearly before each transaction. Fees are non-refundable once a transaction is complete.

6. Event Owner responsibilities

As an Event Owner, you are responsible for:

  • Ensuring your event details are accurate and up to date.
  • Obtaining consent from guests before adding their personal information to the platform.
  • Communicating with vendors in good faith and honouring agreed payment terms.
  • Ensuring sufficient funds are available for authorised payments.
  • Complying with all applicable laws for your event (venue licences, insurance, etc.).

7. Planner and Vendor responsibilities

Planners and Vendors must:

  • Provide accurate information about their services, experience, and availability.
  • Deliver services as agreed with the Event Owner.
  • Not misrepresent qualifications, accreditations, or insurance status.
  • Resolve disputes directly with Event Owners in the first instance before escalating to Plantruly.

8. Acceptable use

You must not use Plantruly to:

  • Commit fraud or impersonate another person.
  • Upload content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes third-party rights.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the platform.
  • Circumvent our payment or security systems.
  • Use the platform for any purpose other than legitimate event planning.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice.

9. Disputes between users

Plantruly facilitates connections between Event Owners, Planners, and Vendors. We are not a party to contracts between users. In the event of a dispute:

  • Parties should first attempt to resolve the matter directly.
  • Plantruly may offer a mediation process for disputes involving platform payments.
  • We reserve the right to hold funds in escrow during an open dispute.

10. Intellectual property

All content on the Plantruly platform (design, code, copy, branding) is owned by Lifeline Digitals Ltd or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

You retain ownership of content you upload (event details, photos, documents). By uploading, you grant us a licence to store and display it solely for the purpose of providing the service.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lifeline Digitals Ltd is not liable for:

  • The acts or omissions of Planners, Vendors, or other users.
  • Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities.
  • Service interruptions or technical failures beyond our control.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Your statutory rights under UK consumer law are not affected.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of Plantruly after changes means you accept the updated terms. If you do not agree, you may close your account before the changes apply.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
