How transaction fees work
All fees are shown transparently at the point of payment. Example: a guest contributing £100 to a cash fund on a free-tier event sees — "£100 gift. £5.90 Plantruly service fee. £94.10 received by the event owner." Premium event owners pay 0% on gift contributions. Stripe payment processing is included in the fee.

Common questions
Can I try Plantruly before paying?
Yes. The free tier is free forever with no time limit. You can create your first event, build your guest list, and explore the platform with no credit card required.
When are transaction fees charged?
Fees are applied when a guest purchases a gift or contributes to a cash fund, and when an event owner pays a vendor milestone. The fee is deducted before funds reach you. The exact amount is always shown before payment is confirmed.
Who receives the money from gifts and cash funds?
The Event Owner only. Plantruly enforces this at the database layer — planners cannot receive or hold event funds.
When are gift and cash fund contributions released to me?
Funds are held in escrow until 48 hours after your event date, then released to your Plantruly wallet. You can withdraw to your bank at any time after release.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, at any time. You keep premium features until the end of your billing period. No cancellation fees.
